We remodeled one of the oldest buildings in Port Neches, Texas – the original First National Bank of Port Neches. The inside has been completely modernized, with parts of the old-building charm showing through. Avenue Axe is approximately 7000 square feet with an occupancy of 250+. We serve Beer, Wine, and Soft Drinks -but no food, feel free to bring your own (some extra to share with our staff would be nice – our Axeperts are always hungry). There is plenty of room to social distance between ranges and in the lounge area.
Parking is along the street that we share with the local brewery, and there is additional parking behind the Avenue Café and along side streets.
The Axe Throwing Area has 5 ranges with 2 targets each, 10 total targets, for you to show off your skills. Each Range is spaced out 10-12 ft from each other to ensure your group is safely away from the next. Each range can accommodate up to 12 future axe throwing professionals. This means we can have 50-60 people in the Axe Throwing area at one time, but only 10 people throwing at the same time (synchronized wood chopping).
The Axe Throwing Area is designed for Axe Throwing, watching Axe Throwing, and hanging out. We have multiple large televisions, a large bar (with beer and wine service), and tables and chairs to take a load off.
The Event Room is built with the old industrial décor and old history of the building, it even has the bank vault – with no money.
The Event Room is separate from but connected to the Axe Throwing Area. The Event Room is approximately 1600 square feet and can accommodate 80-120 people between standing and seated. We have enough tables and chairs to seat about 70 people. It has a separate bar that is available to use and a stage area for you to sing your heart out….or just hire someone to do that. This room is perfect for any event. There are no axe throwing lanes in the event room.
